En sus primeras acciones como presidente de Estados Unidos, Donald Trump firmó una orden ejecutiva para declarar una “emergencia nacional” en la frontera con México, con el objetivo de destinar más fondos para la deportación masiva de migrantes irregulares.

Como parte de las medidas para atender la “crisis migratoria”, la administración de Trump determinó reactivar la política de “Quédate en México”, de modo que los solicitantes de asilo permanezcan en territorio mexicano.

Además, el mandatario norteamericano informó este lunes que enviará a personal militar para reforzar la seguridad en la zona fronteriza, con el fin de detener la ola migratoria.
